Sennheiser - Early Christmas :D
Tuesday, November 22, 2011 // 0 comment(s)

Look what came in today :)
an early Christmas present from the Boyfriend :D

According to him,
he has been wanting to get me one since forever because the Apple earphone I used previously has no mic,
and it absorbs all the noisy background sound so its kinda annoying.
It got me wondered how he stand the noise all these while.
I can't even stand annoying sound more than 2 seconds.

Oh well :)

we both are happy after trying it out this afternoon through all the annoying updates from my parts,
finally it works well and improved the sound quality :D

thankyousomuch! :)

xx

On a totally unrelated note,

revamped my blog with a simple layout and banner today.

Determined to start blogging again but perhaps not too soon,

we shall see.

Hello everyone!

Happy Chinese New Year,
It's been a while since I've last updated my blog because I was caught up with a lot of activities in between
since it's the Chinese New Year holidays that I was back home for more than a week plus,
and going outstation.
Lots to do during the holidays and now I'm finally back.
Basically,
today is like the last day to the first week of my resumed classes.

Anyways,
got home a week + ago and finally got to open my long awaited parcel!
It was there since a month ago, but couldn't get it in time cause I left on the day it arrived my house! :(
It's my x'mas gift from him (:

I love it and I've been contemplating whether to get one for a while now,
he kept telling me not to but in the end it came as a x'mas gift surprise :)

the limited edition instax, cheki!

few of the instax pictures taken during Chinese New Year with the family!

hmm,
guess that's all for today,
will update about my Chinese New Year break soon.
Busy period now!

Up and About..
Monday, January 24, 2011 // 0 comment(s)

Woo, so it's been a while since I actually updated again.
I've been out pretty often lately during weekends, with Leslie and Mary.
Basically, we're just doing a little shoppings around the malls here and back in kl.

this pics was 2 weeks back I guess, gosh I'm craving for Nandos.

Oh yeah I've managed to met up with Loh and Kelvin two days back,
though it was just a short night having dinner and visiting the old place - Jaafar later on,
we had a great time catching up, well since everyone is pretty busy now.
I heard some rubbish stories from one of them too about the negative rumors that was spread by someone idiotic to strangers & strangers spread to other strangers, that's how sucky it is.
*Says: long gone to your own dramas boy.
* Now I realised, didn't take pictures with them for some time now!

Aside from that ;
managed to watch a few more movies:
Just Wright
BrilliantLove
HappyThankYouMorePlease
The Girlfriend's Boyfriend
I think I love Just Wright & I; The Girlfriend's Boyfriend more but the story line was a tad bit confusing & unexpected.

Put them all aside,
I should be really busy with my internship placement application now,
my coming Chinese New Year break and trip,
and the damn Dissertation due on April 22! Why is it so friggin early?

Anyways,
look out for my next update soon I guess.

Till Then.

Kuala Lumpur - Little Korea & Rak Thai
Tuesday, January 11, 2011 // 0 comment(s)

The continuation of my first week of 2011 was,
still hanging out with the same people which we had Korean Food for dinner, unexpectedly.
Supposed to just eat something light, instead we went and check out this new place - Little Korea
and it wasn't bad at all!
From service, to food preparation and presentation, everything was real good.
Of course, it comes with a price also.
Anyways, this place is more famous for its BBQ stuffs, which I want to try someday!
Due to having cold for days now, have to save it for another day instead.
Oh well, good things always comes to those who wait ! so Patience!

Anyways,
we got a little excited while ordering and end up with a feast.

We had that big bowl of Bul Goki ( for 2 person , but I think its for 4 person instead :/ )
See that last picture? that is actually after they served each of us a bowl, the extras.
RM55  :/
and its tad pricey too cause of the waiter, cooked it in front of us, and the meat is uber tender and fresh.

Ordered Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab ( upper right end picture ) - Rice in Hot Stone Bowl, with minced pork , egg and mixed veggies ( RM 20 )

1 bowl of Gal Bi Tang - Beef Rib Soup ( RM 20 )
The ribs are awfully fresh, just chew on the meat and you can easily get a clean cut off the bones.
One thing special with the soup is, they actually boiled it with ginseng and leeks in it ( notice bottom left end picture)

oh and another dish that I just noticed I forgot to put up,
Hae Mool Pa Jeon - Seafood Pancake ( RM 25 )

and wanna know the surprising fact of this shop? A bowl of rice cost you RM5!
Easily our bill costs RM152 but it was worth it, considering the portion, fresh food and good service.
I mean, I've been to so many restaurants which serves food around this price range but one with all the good stuffs is really rare :D

the next day was spent at Midvalley,
in order to fulfill our craving for Thai food,
came back to Rak Thai for brunch.
This trip back to Rak Thai is kinda disappointing,
the food we ordered were just so-so compared to the previous times.

Mine was the most disappointing one of all, I forgot whats mine called,
but its basically fried noodle with tons of green and red chilies + minced chicken and veges.
It killed me for a moment there, sweat while eating + worsen my flu.
I did not eat even 1/4 of the whole thing.
Really terrible, I will never order it anymore.

Mary ordered mango chicken chop with rice and Leslie's was the BBQ chicken that I had last time.

The desserts was awesome though, especially that red water chestnut with jackfruit :D

and then I got myself a new toy lens at Gardens,
Leslie became my first model, heheheh! :P

Kota Kinabalu - Rasa Nyonya , Atmosphere , KL - SS15
Sunday, January 9, 2011 // 0 comment(s)

Spent my first week of new year,
well the night before coming back to KL spent my night having dinner with my parents at Rasa Nyonya
Its been a while since I've been there,
I remembered my parents used to take us here almost every weekend few years back.

We had the local Nyonya dishes and everything still tastes the same as before.
The fish is always fresh, and that night I tried out their recommended Sago Melaka dessert,
with chucks of papaya and nata de coco and jelly base, too bad it was too sweet to my liking.

After shopping a while at Tong Hing, I then headed to @tmosphere to catch up with my high school mates who came back from UK and also who is now a raising blogger,
who started out blogging back in Form 4?
 If I remembered correctly :P
and of course, Denise :)

Well, this few days back, I had my classes resumed.
5 more months of studies to be exact, which will pass by really fast.
Especially when I only have 3 days of classes a week, not to say I'm very free,
it means that I have more workload to do :(
So far I'm kinda enjoying my classes, but I knew it won't be easy either.
Currently, I'm really stressed out because I have so much things to worry about for these 5 months.

Anyways, I met up with Loh for dinner few days back.
Poor guy now is really sick, and he just came back from New Zealand.
Then we went to buy lingerie for his girlfriend, because he was too shy to go alone :P
last 30 minutes before pyramid closes, this is what he decided to get,
roughly on his mind he had this idea anyway.

Then, two nights back it was a laid-back Friday.
Technically, it always has been.
Spent the night hanging out with Mary and Leslie again,
it's been a while so we headed to Asia Cafe for dinner.

We had a lot of food :/ each one of us end up ordering one extra side dishes,
these are just a few. Amazing how we can eat so much :/
and then we went to McDonalds for supper.
Time passed by so quickly when you're enjoying, just chit-chatting away :)
Well, gotta go meet them up again now.

Will continue update real soon :)

Till Then.

Kuala Lumpur - Sakae Sushi , Pasta De Gohan
Tuesday, October 26, 2010 // 0 comment(s)

Lately, I've been out during the past weekends with Mary,
and we had Japanese food marathon for no apparent reason at Subang's Sakae Sushi.
Told ourselves that we should like avoid Japanese food for sometime now,

well it looked little at first, and we just had to keep ordering and then ..we end up with..

Tempura,Calamari,Shishamo, SoftShellCrab

and then, we had these too..

Salmon Belly and Chicken something something :/
Food is usually good, however I prefer Sunway's Sakae Sushi better.
I think its the fried stuffs.

We ended up eating these for 2 hours
and came out from Sakae Sushi feeling so bloated after that.

The following week,
we finally settled down at Pasta De Gohan after deciding where to eat and I realised,
Gosh it's Japanese food again!
Just that its Westernish-Japanese food (:
Reminds me of the Japanese shop I went to for pasta in Singapore too,
and this shop has the exact concept, but different brand.
In Singapore, it was owned by Sakae and this is owned by Pasta De Waraku , Singapore.

This is just half of their many many selections in the menu.
Too much selections in fact its kinda hard to choose.
The pasta's price range between RM20+ - RM 40+

This is one of the sides I ordered,
Chicken Mushroom and Bacon risotto.
Taste so so good , I can't have enough of it :X

Mary's main, Carbonara Based Bacon pasta.
I personally don't really like carbonara ,
but she said it was good,
Their bacon was really nice (:

I had a Bacon, Potatoes and Asparagus pasta.
Kinda weird combination I think.
But its not bad. I love how the cheesey taste doesn't make you feel all stuffy and full after eating it.

Brushetta for sides too, they called it toasts instead :/

I tried this weird drink.
Japanese Soda,
Forgot what's the name, starts with a C but saw that red base thingy?
It's actually cherry, and I HATE cherries :(

All and all,
It is a good place to try out fusion Japanese cuisine but with a tad-pricey tags on it.

xxxxxxx

Shopped for new shoe and sandal, watched Life As We Know It too.
Starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel , I just adore them.
Make such cute couples and of course it was really funny as its a romance-comedy movie.

Other than that,
my days wasn't too bad besides being busy trying to do my event things plus ,
the responds is kinda good now.
our goodie bags has increased from RM300+ to RM700+ per person (:
andddddd
our target is 25 teams and we managed to hit 21 teams in a week.
The event is this Saturday.
I actually can't wait for this weekend to come.

Played MapleStory again.
Restarted a new character with a new job after such a long long time.
Things changed so much in there, with more and more cute monsters. Freaking noob seh (:

I will have a French Oral Mid Term tomorrow on Dialogues again.
I hate role plays.
Don't know what to expect actually. No preparation.
Guess I shall go have my dinner now before preparing the French Slides.

Till Then.

Past weeks.
Sunday, October 18, 2009 // 0 comment(s)

I've been MIA for 3 weeks now , almost 4 weeks since I have actually did a proper blogging . Ever since I came back KL I've been really busy with my work , and during weekends , go out with friends to relax and enjoy after the really stressful and tiring week days of work , you will know if you follow my Tweets all the time .

Anyways , I will start blogging with things that happened since 3 weeks ago .

So the next day after I reached KL from KK , I was out with Kelly & Leslie to Sunway Pyramid to shop for house groceries and so on , we had our brunch at Dragon-I . Its been a while since I was there , used to go there for their Xiao Long Bao because someone used to love having it .

I decided to have just fried rice that day , and we had a seriously long chat, accompany Leslie to have his haircut & I couldn't remember whats next haha , shoppings definately.

Kelly! with her funny expression haha

Starbucks for tea time <3

I was busy working for 13 hours non stop at Hilton Hotel , KL sentral during the first saturday of my internship as an event planner . It was interesting and the event was a success . I had to deal with doctors and there was this talk on a products so the people who attended was brain surgeons and all . It was mooncake festival , didn't get to celebrate but I did brought home a Purple Cane mooncake courtesy the company I'm working with , their mooncakes are so special . 7 different flavours , such as oolong tea with mixed nuts , rose , charcoal etc .

Next day was out with Mary , went to do our nails at Colour Couture . Painted mine sugar plum pink and her's was dark brown? We caught the movie 500 days of Summer . Nice movie . Touching captions and its kinda a true thing that happens in our lives so we can relate to it .

Had our teatime at ToastBox , they served boiled eggs with Feathers attached . Thank god I don't have salmonella after that . Don't know how blind can they be not to clean the eggs properly.

It was our first time there anyway , their toasts are just normal to me.

Maryieee

The following Friday , I was out with Loh , Leslie and Kelly for dinner at New Paris . He said that place serves good chinese food , indeed . The food was okay , not to say "Very" nice but if you want a simple chinese dishes , this is definately the place to go .

We had tofu , marmite-like-kinda-chicken that they called Watermelon Chicken and veges.

cute right the watermelon balls? :D hehe

After dinner , we went to Food Foundry for dessert . Loh kept saying they have this really nice cake dessert and all only to found out , its actually the Mille Crepe Cake that I love to eat and tried when we're at Melacca . Funny how he didn't know that thats the cake that we had in Melacca because we ordered a lot of them .

The mille crepe cakes that we ordered , familiar?

Its actually crepes , layered by layered of them.

The next day , was out for brunch with Leslie & Kelly again at KimGary ,

our coconut curry meat rice , yummy! eat until flu got worse!

I forgot what else we did but I remembered cooking dinner at Leslie's and it was fun . The oil popped everywhere and hit us everywhere it was so funny.

The following weekend , explains why I dislike Banglas.

Leslie and I was walking from KL sentral on our way to Monorail station , and when we're about to cross the road , this bangla from behind stepped on my sandal and it was torned . I was like wtf @!%$# , cursing and then the fella just walked off , didn't even apologized or anything , he crossed the road , turned back and looked at me and faster ran off .

Luckily , there was this indian guy who operates a stall offered to help me . He used his knife and his nylon string wanted to help me fix my sandal and I was like nvm its okay , I mean , he's not the expert in this so yeah , Leslie went nearby and got me a sandal , while I sat there waiting for him . The indian man got me entertained , really nice fella , god bless them.

My new sandal + my waterbottle

Was at Sungei Wang for brunch , had chinese food .

then went to TimeSquare to buy Leslie's bag and we bought cookbooks and we did charity by helping this guy to find the Ingredient book that I have and blah.

and the novel that I'm currently reading , the green one up there somehow connects to my life.

I want to read Dan Brown's Lost Symbol , I think the book is not in Malaysia yet? Loh finished reading it already and I'm like yer :(

Yesterday , I spent hours doing house chores , cleaned almost the entire house , now my muscles are aching really badly. Evening I had steamboat dinner again at Summer Steamboat house.

Everything went well , we ate politely and such until all of a sudden when I was texting , our table caught fire.

Apparently , the tissue was blown to the stove and it hit the fire and started burning . Kelly was the first one to saw it and she was so calm , she's like " Fire , fire oh * staring , Leslie was so blur , he thought Kelly asked him to off the stove , and I was like " wth *panicked , cause the tissue burnt so fast and Kelly is not doing anything haha. Instead she said , just leave it when finish burn ok already . On my mind I was like , there's a tablecloth! I stood up and took my glass of lime juice and just poured on the tissue but the fire spread to the tablecloth and I took another glass of orange juice and poured on it . If don't have the drinks there , I think I would have ran out already cause nobody is doing anything .

Everyone was like suddenly stopped eating and stared at us , some even came close to see what happened . I was like " OMG , EVERYONE LOOKED AT ME MAN !" Kelly & Leslie only laughed , then I end up calling Loh instead of replying his text he was like : " Elaine , I don't know you're laughing now or crying . " then he laughed non stop after I told him what happened :S

3 of us kept laughing after that , our slow reaction and stupidity haha.

dunno crying/laughing

Our burnt table cloth :S

We went to Pyramid again after that but shops was closing , so we went to Jaafar and waste time till 1+am .

Oh yea lately I've been eating at a lot of places in KL because my office is located at the golden triangle area , but didn't take any pictures because I don't bring camera to work with me . There's this place called The Weld , kinda reminds me of the Pasir Ris mall in Singapore. Its a small mall actually , I had my lunch at a place called Old Asia , the food was not bad and its reasonable too.

The Concorde Hotel's chinese restaurant's beef noodles and dimsums are nice too . Do check out those places out if you guys happen to be there.

I'm so nervous right now . Not looking forward to work now , very scared of my presentation :(

Convocation is this coming sunday at KLCC and guess what? I just realised My hush puppie court shoe's heel is broken . #@#!$

My entire weeks is havoc , and I've been cursing non-stop ever since I don't even care anymore.

Another super hectic college life is coming to an end .

Had our Law presentations on Tuesday and guess what?
All of us got 30/20 =D

Will upload the videos if I have it . I only managed to take BDT'S because my group was the first to present .

Click to watch their's .

Got most of my mid term papers back , suprisingly I did quite well in all of it , am happy.

Became Gunawan's lunch service guest yesterday .
Had Quail for starter , Lamb for main course , Chocolate mousse for dessert.

Got em pictures but lazy to upload :P

All was good though , the menu in Taylor's is improving :S

Nothing better to do while waited for English class.

5 of us , did this English video assignment .
We did Cornetto Love Ad .

& Special thanks to Leslie for bringing me dinner on Wed & Thursday .
Hee , hate thinking what to eat for dinner and he unexpectedly solved my problems for that two days . Its been a while since someone brought me dinner :) really appreciate it . Thanks.

Bah , Thursday night went out yumcha with Loh at Jaafar .
Perhaps maybe cause Im sick , I got so dehydrated I ordered 4 cans of this in an hour+ .
Loh & Bev each ordered 3 cans ! haha like competition this us .

First time drinking it and we all loved it .

& before we left , we stacked the empty cans and the mamak's people all stared at us and asked us : Nak lagi? 3 tin? hahaha

that night , Bev & I changed clothes in Jaafar's toilet and SS15's Pool place .

People all stared at us like psycho people since the moment we stepped out of Jaafar :S lol

Went to Pyramid again yesterday for the sake of passing time .
Ate this for the 2nd time .

Yes , Ireland Potatoes!

Its not bad seriously ,

my first time I tried the Honey Mustard and yesterday I tried the Fruit Cream .

The sauce I mean .

Bev ordered the Special cheddar sauce , which was a bit dissapointing because the sauce is a bit too mild .

Daniel ordered the meat sauce one last time , it was just okay :)

Watched I love you , Beth cooper . Damn hilarious .

Now I can't wait to watch The Ugly Truth , Love Happens and Gossip Girl season 3 !

Loh gave Bev & I this strand of Amethysts from India . His parents went India actually .
Really nice of him . Thanks again Loh :)

Am thinking what to do with it , its long enough to just be a necklace , or 2 anklets or 2 bracelets .

What should I use it for?

Bumped into Kelly & Leslie at one of the shop and we walked around together . Then , we met up with Mary & Roger for like 2 minutes at Burger King .

Oh yea , Burger King is now available at Pyramid! & guess what? Krispy Kreme is opening soon too!

xxxx

Anyway , how often do you guys do charity work?
Please do it as much as you can in any ways that is possible , because there are a lot others out there who are in need of your help while you're here being so lucky and yet don't realise it at all !

this is random. But heck , who cares.

xxxx

Well , i'd better be going . Got assignmentS to finish up .

1 week of classes . 1 week of exams . 1 week of holidays . & 2 months of trainings .
