The Past Weeks.

This is a long delayed post.

2 weeks :)

I'm back in KL.

Classes was fun this week , as long as it lasted because I laughed A HELL LOT .

Everyday I get stomach cramps.

but , it's not going to last from this coming week onwards.

Hell lots of assignments + reports and presentations everyweek!

anyways ,

the new campus is okay .

not up to what our expectation is but its still great.

just that the hassles we had to go through everyday , is a lil bit too much.

and I'm still trying to get use to the life of taking bus to class.

it isn't that bad , really just that at times I'm late cause of the bus and the long waiting period.

Ate lunch at one of the restaurant too , Truffles.

Everything is new in there , no longer using old cutleries & plates and there's a bar.

Back date .

The 2nd last day of my holidays , had dinner with the Taylorians & Ex Taylorians at Nandos.

Its great catching up again , after so long .

It was Siosen's treat that night , dunno what occasion , but Thanks SioSen!

Lets play Monopoly Deal at Uni again! haha

The day before was spent Karaoke-ing in the afternoon at Redbox with my cousin and Denise.

At night , at The Library and Laundry.

No we didn't study and do our laundry like some of you that asked me.

It was a hell fun night!

with new faces.

Last class for term 6!

Yesterday was the last class for term 6 , diploma .

How fast time flies , 2 years we've been together , been through so much together .

From strangers to close friends , that is what we are right now .

After today , we might not be in the same class anymore , some will go , a handful will stay .

Friends come and go , as they said .

But no matter what , we'll always have each other .

It was also our last practical class for food and beverage yesterday .
Practice class before our real exam on the 16th which is my birthday :S
All we did yesterday was just focus on our carvings , fruits & meats + flambe
Normally we will have class from 2pm-11pm doing all the mise-en-place , serving guests , techniques and all .

But , last night ... everything that we practiced , we get to eat all by ourselves!
We only practiced carving pineapples , oranges , grapefruits , bananas , duck and chicken though .

Which started from 2.30pm - 10.30pm , then we did our flambee .

We had our talking session again with Mr Tayboon , he gave us a lot of experiences talk and it definately made us think of our future and the world differently .

In between , we ate , we drink , we laughed , we cleaned , we prepared , we enjoyed :)

End up take away lots of food and threw away lots of it too because can't eat them all .
Each of us has a chicken and half a duck to eat ( luckily the duck is shared between 2 persons) if not , we have to eat 1 duck 1 chicken each ... and it's going to be my meals for 2 days!

Then , around 5.30pm we had a short break to wash our stuffs and prepare for later's carving .
Mr Tayboon asked us to the bar and suddenly said he wanted to treat us an aperitif from France .


We acted dumb like we dunno what was the occasion , but ended up we suprised him with a birthday cake !

Then he suprised us again by opening Domaine de Lamothe's Gaillac
Vintage 2005 , tasted a bit like honey and goes well with the cheesecake!


The aperitif that he first opened . This tasted really really nice , like lychee flavour.
All of us love this so much . It costs only about 7 euros in France .

Mr Tayboon thought my sauce looked over-browned , he said it looks like I'm making chocolate sauce ! HAHAHA!

But wait till he saw Joel's , the moment we all looked we all laughed so hard!


Super dark like soy sauce!! hahaha and Mr Tayboon was like , why Sabahan like to make chocolate sauce ah?

Then I answered him : Because we're not tan enough ba ! LOL

Funny , the moment I saw this I laughed till I couldn't stand straight .

This week has been a tiring one . Been busy with school stuffs as usual , trials is in like 2 weeks time , final exams is like in 4 weeks time :( *screams .

Anyway , last night was out with Bev and Rebekah after our serving practical class . It was already 11.30pm and we didn't have our dinner so we were so hungry . As usual la after practical class , and Rebekah insisted we go out to eat ... so we went KFC at SS15 .

How sinful to eat fried chicken , with mash potatoes + cheesy wedges with cheese + cokes + chips with jalepeno cheese at that hour :P
We had so much fun eating and talking about religions .

Oh , and I found few old pictures taken weeks ago before practical class .

Oh and there was this Bittersweet Symphony fair about Coffee and Pastries at school on the 14th and 15th which is today .

I bought this little muffins from there . I chosed Kiwi , strawberry , coconut , green tea , oreo , and Double Chocolate .

It's nice . No regrets :)

A few companies participated , such as Big Apple , Bisou , Illy , Hydraskin , Prestine , Victoria , Chocos companies , cream puffs companies , the siew pau shop at pyramid and alot more .

But the main thing here is the Muesli bars that Prestine is selling .

They have this testers for people to try out their muesli bars .

It looks good , and they're selling if for RM10 .

Where got so good right?

Well most of the people of course tempted to buy la... but thank god , dear friend Beverley got this email and she said this brand is not good .

Wonder why?

Here is why .


Apparently , someone bought it before and his daughter ate it . Then wondered why there is something weird in between the muesli bars .

The father immediately checked it , and discovered that it was actually WORM EGGS!

and he actually saw worms moving around it!


I was so shocked when I heard it , and yesterday the man was showing me the tester and asked me to try it out . Thank god I didn't . But , I swear I saw the tester ... its like crushed somehow but I saw the white white thing is still there .

Only to find out when I saw this email , its actually the worm eggs!

C'est Gross!

So now people , watch what you're going to buy , and observe before you actually put anything into your mouth . If you suspect something odd in it , don't take it . You might never know whats in it .
