Yesterday was the last class for term 6 , diploma .

How fast time flies , 2 years we've been together , been through so much together .

From strangers to close friends , that is what we are right now .

After today , we might not be in the same class anymore , some will go , a handful will stay .

Friends come and go , as they said .

But no matter what , we'll always have each other .

It was also our last practical class for food and beverage yesterday .
Practice class before our real exam on the 16th which is my birthday :S
All we did yesterday was just focus on our carvings , fruits & meats + flambe
Normally we will have class from 2pm-11pm doing all the mise-en-place , serving guests , techniques and all .

But , last night ... everything that we practiced , we get to eat all by ourselves!
We only practiced carving pineapples , oranges , grapefruits , bananas , duck and chicken though .

Which started from 2.30pm - 10.30pm , then we did our flambee .

We had our talking session again with Mr Tayboon , he gave us a lot of experiences talk and it definately made us think of our future and the world differently .

In between , we ate , we drink , we laughed , we cleaned , we prepared , we enjoyed :)

End up take away lots of food and threw away lots of it too because can't eat them all .
Each of us has a chicken and half a duck to eat ( luckily the duck is shared between 2 persons) if not , we have to eat 1 duck 1 chicken each ... and it's going to be my meals for 2 days!

Then , around 5.30pm we had a short break to wash our stuffs and prepare for later's carving .

We acted dumb like we dunno what was the occasion , but ended up we suprised him with a birthday cake !

Then I answered him : Because we're not tan enough ba ! LOL

Funny , the moment I saw this I laughed till I couldn't stand straight .

Missing the fun times we had.

I'll start this post with a joke told by my Human Resource lecturer on last monday .

We all laughed before she even started telling us her joke because she normally don't joke and then because it was already the last class , she was being sarcastic and all that and then she decided to share with us a joke which was ...

One day , there was this 3 person who wanted to go to heaven and so they went to meet GOD.
First one was a priest , he told GOD that he saved a lot of lives through prayers but GOD said NO.
The second one was a doctor , he told GOD that he saved a lot of lives too but GOD said No.
The third and the last person was a lecturer , he/she said he/she wanted to go to heaven .
GOD answered the lecturer yes you will go to heaven because you've been through hell! haha


Of course all the lecturers been through hell having had to taught us all these while , when you get students like us being rebellious all the time .

So it's wednesday today . No class as usual so Bev & I went to Sunway Pyramid and did little shoppings again for groceries and that makes me spent rm 250 on friggin groceries in 1 week...I dunno what I bought but yes , I'm definately stocking for final exam month ... going to cook at home since we're not going out that period . I guess? lol 20 days of exams! omg..

We had ice creams just now after so long for not eating them .

Yesterday I had replacement classes ( on a saturday! ) and the school was so dead .

Supposed to have the whole hospitality and tourism students in school but predicted la , a lot of people didn't come .

I only attended Human Resource class . There is no revision classes because the lecturer didn't come . French , hehe..13 peoples went only :P

On wednesday night , Kien Wai & Daniel fetched me for dinner at KimGary . Had fun chit-chatting . Bumped into Mary & Roger at the cinema .



My really heavy eel + mussel cheese baked rice for dinner . It was yummy .


Then , last night after my practical class at 10.45pm , both of them along with Loh fetched me from school and off we went to watch Night at the Museum 2 .

Siosen was so nice to offer me a ride when she knew I am going for movies but the guys already waited for me at school . What suprised me was , Karl called Bev up after we dropped Bev off at Mentari Court and he was asking where am I and he said he wanted to offer a ride to me since he is going SunwayPyramid too . So touched to know that :) Thanks guys .

Daniel told me that he bought me those little strawberry dipped sugar dessert , I was like woot? Such a sweetheart . Haha , didn't expect he will buy that all of a sudden for me . At first I didn't believe it , but Loh and Kien wai said he did but he ate them already . Hahahahah! and he said he'll buy them again for me . :S and I still wonder why all of a sudden he was so thoughtful ... :P hehe anyways ,

The movie was quite good , had a great time laughing . But , I guess not many people really get the jokes , because everytime 4 of us laughed , is like the cinema is in complete silence =S and they only laughed when they see something cute and all that .

Oh and only before the movie started , I realised my housekey was inside my bag which I passed to Bev and I go OMG haha was like thinking I am so going to stay out whole night today with Daniel and Loh because 3 of us didn't have class today , and they're happy about it!


Saw Chris and Daphnee there too after movies .

But , luckily one of my cousin is still at the mamak around 2+am so he waited for me and I have a spare key to go into my room or else I'll have to wear my practical uniform till morning! Haha


I really like the part when the guy answered : " No ,its only for decoration purpose . " with his blanked and speechless face . LOL

Later that , headed to Mustaffa for my dinner+supper . I ate a lot last night , from the moment we stepped into the cinema until the time before I got home which was already 3am . =D

Woke up and went to Bev's house to study a bit and take my stuffs until Rebekah suddenly asked whether we wanted to buy knives . So , off we went to a kitchenware factory called Hocatsu and Taylor's Student get 20% off any items from there . We didn't know the way until we called one of our lecturer and he lead us there .

The things there are nice , lots of varieties ... comparable with EuroChef's but some things you can only get in Hocatsu and vice-versa .

On the way home , Rebekah offered us a ride to Island Red Cafe for dinner but end up Bev & I walked there because we wanted to eat our dinner earlier .

Bev is on diet still . So bread toasts for her .

Tried the food there , it was just okay . Nothing really special , price was reasonable . Service was okay .


Something special happened yesterday during practical class . One of my lucky classmate , asked a girl for a chance during our "last" practical class for this term , because the next 2 classes will be practice session and final exam .



It was really sweet and romantic of him . Our whole class supported him , even our lecturer hahaha . All of us keep saying congratulations , and clapped our hands when he presented her a rose and a plate of dessert written with the word " will you be mine? " using chocolate .



She accepted him . :)

Really lucky and happy for him . Teehee .

So , this week is already the 7th week .

2 more weeks to trials . 4 more weeks to final exams , and my birthday .

Do you believe in coincidence? I do .

There are so many coincidences that happened in my life at times I wondered why , or how , or what for?

One example of coincidence in my life , my birthday this year .

As if having normal practical class is not bad enough on normal days .
The fact that I am having final exams during my birthday , I have to accept .
But whats worst of all is this time the final exam for restaurant practical falls on my birthday!

That is like the worst thing ever and it have to happen on my birthday , giving me a really memorable Diploma years in Taylors College .


Of all 19 days of exam from June 1st - 19th , it did not fall on any other day but 16th June!
I dunno to say I'm lucky or what , it's like a karma somehow . Sigh .

It's just so , sad .

After knowing our Human Resource project marks , we got quite low for it (27/40) but still the highest . Amazing , but yea the lecturer sucked . We argued with her during our submission over few things . So we kinda expected our marks will be , terrible .

Oh , and we got back our assignment papers from Mr Gopi for Tourism and Hospitality , one of the essays la , we don't have calculations one for this paper . But , a friend of mine =D lol ...wrote some calculation on the paper , and our lecturer commented on the paper ..

Most of us got , Good Job , good work , nice work , nice job , *insert some dirty jokes by Mr Gopi , yes each and every one brings different meaning to him LOL .

Now the school's bakery has a new packaging bag for the pastries that we purchase . Nice design :)

Tried this dress at one of the boutiques in Asian Avenue .

First image , the dress I wore cost rm 160 and Bev was wearing the rm40 one which I looked fat in it .

Was thinkin whether to get the dress , but dunno if it is really worth the price so I didn't .

After that , we went other places for a walk . I bought myself a top , new green colour nail polish from Etude , while Bev got herself a new bikini from Billabong which she dreamt of since forever :P and a top to go with it from Roxy . We went into almost each and every female clothing shop until we got so blur . Its like when we were at Nichii , Bev wanted to tell me she might want to go back to the shop that she saw this really nice top , and asking if I can remember where is it , and I'm like..umm..is it the one at MNG? eh no , Top shop?? Eh not la...then she's like , is it Elle? Haha , then I finally remembered , its at Dorothy Perkins :S

Just remembered , tommorow I will have my French Oral again , hopefully it goes well this time .

This week has been a tiring one . Been busy with school stuffs as usual , trials is in like 2 weeks time , final exams is like in 4 weeks time :( *screams .

Anyway , last night was out with Bev and Rebekah after our serving practical class . It was already 11.30pm and we didn't have our dinner so we were so hungry . As usual la after practical class , and Rebekah insisted we go out to eat ... so we went KFC at SS15 .

How sinful to eat fried chicken , with mash potatoes + cheesy wedges with cheese + cokes + chips with jalepeno cheese at that hour :P
We had so much fun eating and talking about religions .

But the main thing here is the Muesli bars that Prestine is selling .

They have this testers for people to try out their muesli bars .

Well most of the people of course tempted to buy la... but thank god , dear friend Beverley got this email and she said this brand is not good .

Wonder why?

Here is why .

Apparently , someone bought it before and his daughter ate it . Then wondered why there is something weird in between the muesli bars .

and he actually saw worms moving around it!

I was so shocked when I heard it , and yesterday the man was showing me the tester and asked me to try it out . Thank god I didn't . But , I swear I saw the tester ... its like crushed somehow but I saw the white white thing is still there .

Only to find out when I saw this email , its actually the worm eggs!

C'est Gross!

So now people , watch what you're going to buy , and observe before you actually put anything into your mouth . If you suspect something odd in it , don't take it . You might never know whats in it .

I hate my friggin term 6 french lecturer so much right now .

Not that I ever like her anyway , but what she did today is just totally , f . up .

So much of respecting her all these while .


Well , okay Im back to blog about what happened this morning .

So , I had to wake up like so early this morning to attend this French oral trial exam that I am having this week .


and guess what ? It was hell .

I was waiting there for my turn , and end up when it's my turn , after friggin almost 2 hours ...

my lecturer looked at me and she said : "Girl , I don't think today I'll be seeing you . "

Her reasons : I've appointment with someone .
My taxi is waiting down there .

And she goes like , girl can we just do it next class?

She even purposely looked at me then showed her watch to the girl that presented before me telling her that she's rushing , you know that face ... purposely trying to show kinda thing? Then I looked at her and I glanced away pretending I didn't see her .

Then she purposely took her sweet time teaching her words by words how to explain and such when she is so called " rushing "?

Then she also kept texting in front of us to so called show us that someone is waiting for her .

Really , so WTH I've been waiting for so long at least when I am prepared give me the chance to speak la ?!

So I insisted I said , just let me do it now la! I don't want to wait anymore ... and I promise I'll talk fast .

Well , then she gave me the chance .

So I sat there , as I talked , someone approached her and started questioning her things and I had to stop talking .

After like wasting my 2 minutes there , she looked at me . So I continued with describing about myself . Then , she stopped me and asked me to describe about my cousins .

So I gave her the Huh ? face because I wasn't ready for that . Then , I said okay . So without thinking , I answered her , then suddenly she stopped me .

I taught I said something wrong but no , she said I need to go out and get my water bottle refilled .

This got me really feeling upset , I mean I am half way doing my trials and you gave me the chance to talk when you're rushing and instead of me wasting your time you wasted mine and you can't even bother to respect me when I'm talking??!

Its not like I took 10 minutes to talk , while others had like 10-15 mins per person! You even gave them 2nd or 3rd time chances to talk to you just because they're stucked half way and others had to wait for like hours for their turn? How is that being fair to us that is waiting ?

So she came in after she refilled her bottle , and so I got to continue talking for like another 1 minutes describing about my cousins , and then she showed me a picture , a random one whereby I'm supposed to ask her like 5 questions regarding the things / places / foods that she gave us .

Immediately after she showed me the picture , I asked her 5 questions , all regarding about cars . First 4 she can answer ...

till the 5th one , she paused for a moment and gave me the face of " Oh , I don't know " thing and she said this to me : " since you asked me this question , why not you answer? "

Obviously , if you know you won't ask me to answer right? Because the main purpose of this section is for me to ask and for her to answer .

I straight told her can , but I don't know the word steel in french . It's not in any of my syllabus anyways , I mean how often do you use the word steel? So I ask her la ...
guess what she answered me?

" Okay , you find out the word in french and you tell me next week ( which is our next class ) , and I need to go now . * Packed her bags and left the class .

So I'm like wtf la , I only dunno one word and you're saying that to me , just because you want to leave you're using that as an excuse . Moreover , I didn't even talk more than 5 minutes .

Others who don't know anything you'll be like helping them and talk crap for the next dunno how many minutes which slowed everyone down ...waste people's time only . If I know today I don't even go for her friggin trials .

f.y.i : she's the kind of lecturer that the moment the clock strikes the supposed allocated time she will straight pack her bags and leave the class , regardless she finish with teaching or explaining to her students things that they're learning . All she thinks about is leaving the class . Which , much explains why she is a sucky lecturer because her principles as a lecturer failed .

Before she left , I even asked her ... so since we stopped at section 2 , so next class where shall I start my trials again from? Section 1?? then she said no , start from where you stopped . Then , I asked her again since she gave me the Section 3 question already which I am supposed to prepare on the spot too does that still count for the next class or I have to present something else ? She said its up to me .

Sounded nice huh? NO!

The problem with her is , when I talked , she didn't bother to listen properly ... all that she's thinking is refill her water bottle , pack her bag and she want to leave the class like as if if you don't leave now any minute you will die . She didn't even take down any marks for what I've presented and the next time I'm going to meet her I just have to present the last section ? How will that help me with my marks?? So much of being a lecturer , she doesn't even know how to respect people when they're talking .

Curse her. I hate her so much now .

Thanks to her , I learnt nothing in term 6's french class and now even my trials I am not allowed to do it properly with my rights as a student . Stupid .

Last wednesday , dinner was at Sunway Pyramid again . Was studying the whole half day and got fed up with my summary and essay on Sports Tourism in Malaysia .

Seriously , hate writing them after so long in Taylors , we hardly ever write so much already and when we have to write , it reminds me so much of being in high school .

Dinner at TGIF on wednesday was great , Daniel claimed that he haven't eat the whole day and was super - uberly hungry but amazingly , that night all he could eat was the steak burger that he himself couldn't finish :D lol

Imagine the portion ? LOL

Beverley as usual , on diet now ... all that she ordered was Shanghai style chicken salad . Very oriental eh , its like a mixture of veggies + chicken + mandarin oranges .

I ordered Clam Chowder soup as my appetizer .

Apparently , TGIF is not greedy at all with their clams =D the soup was really tasty , there was thyme and chunks of potatoes too .

and for my main course I ordered sandwiches . Boy , look at the melted cheese . This was one very filling cheese sandwich , comes with the fries which I couldn't finish .

Too bad the sandwich is filled with onions! I really hate them .

I felt like vomiting after eating this . Bloated with cheese .

Poor guy , here he was still giving the thumbs up and that night we were talking about handphones and such . Yesterday he just lost his :X what a coincidence .

So , I was the manager for yesterday's dinner service .

Yesterday's menu was Orange Salad , Grill Dory fish with Hollandaise Sauce , and Mango Flambee .

Everything went well , which was good :)

we had sudden quiz session on champagne throughout the entire dinner service .

First it was 8 champagne labels .

All of us had hard time answering that , because most of us only knew like max 5!

and then , I went and search for answers :P

then passed the informations around so we got all 8 .

Then after dinner service , which was already 10.30pm ... we had another quiz session on champagne .

This time 10 labels! haha and we had to write them on the paper and show it to the lecturer .

Then he questioned us about wine again as usual before he dismissed us .

Overall , we had fun and learnt :)

owh ...last night's main course's vegetable was something special .

Its kinda like Thai Style Vegetable Salad consist of

Zuchini , Eggplant , Coriander , Onions , Shallots , Garlic , Olive Oil , Sesame Oil , Fish Sauce , Thai Sauce

So many things inside , until when I was asking the chefs its like an interview sessions with 7 of them!

Yes only 7 of them last night cooked for 74 pax , amazing :) although few of the fish wasn't cooked well and was sent back to the kitchen ... and the queue was so long , everyone was waiting ... lecturer got mad , guests got upset ... yeah things like that...

I bet they had fun doing them too . They even have time to take pictures after everything :)

Yup , I've been living my life like one for quite some time now and I seriously hate it .

argh , and finals is like few weeks away! Trials starting next monday , French Oral that is .

I swear its going to be a tough one :(

Anyways , last week's weekends was spent going to Pyramid again .

Saturday was for shoppings , Sunday was because I need to get my centrepieces and supposedly on Monday I am supposed to follow Denise and Bev there to eat dinner but end up I couldn't .

Was having flu and felt awfully awful especially in the morning . I think I am dehydrated . I drank so much fluids it doesn't help and my lips cracked like nobody business even lip balm doesn't help .

Owh yaah , we had a nice dinner at Ole Ole Bali . I really like that place so I suggested to Bev that why not we have our dinner so yeah we did .

It's my Ayam Betutu . The portion was so huge , 2 person can eat this whole thing! The chicken they gave me was like half of a chicken!

With lots of condiments , which I didn't take at all ... Bev helped me to eat them :P

My Virgin Pina Colada I think , I forgot the name ... but it was mixture of pineapple juice , coconut and cream . Yummy !

Bev's new favourite drink ! She can't get enough of this! haha...mixture of mint + honeydew + honey..

I bought myself a new harddisk too because I have too many things to store right now but I didn't take the picture though .

& Lately , I've been on Itunes quite often and Youtube because my ipod needed new songs .

I found and downloaded a lot of songs from this 2 young talented singers , heard of them for quite some time actually but just recently found more of their songs and most of them are good!

I got a new haircut again , yesterday .

Wasn't really happy about it ... for some reason .

But I do miss having short hair again , and of course my old hair :(

Now my hair colour changed to Dark Mahogany Brown .

I had a great time going out shopping with Bev yesterday ...
We tried out PappaRich for dinner...didn't take any picture though..but it was good..
I had Nasi Lemak and she had some noodle .

It was yummy .
