Merry Christmas 2008 to each and everyone of you !

Tommorow is already Christmas eve .

Suddenly I felt like my schedule is so pack again ... Went to the dentist today and checked all my teeth ... everything is perfectly fine now...

Tommorow going to Taylor's Office to pay my school fees .. then to Sabah Medical Centre and maybe church at night or the next day ...

My next appointment will be to have another hair cut...which is on the 26th..at the very same night ...it's going to be my uncle's house warming..

and the next day I'm flying back to KL...yes , changed my airticket today ... because my mum decided that she wanted to leave KK for good ... and I kinda spoiled her plan by persuading my dad to follow...anyways...so it's also part of the plan so that I can go back KL to do my report...which I dumbly left my piles of informations there before coming back KK for my 2nd training...and another part of the plan was to suprise my sis...which will be going over to KL on the same day for a short 3 days vacation...so as said , our family reunion will be like in KL now instead of KK... and also the last time I met my sis was early this year...

it was meant to be a suprise not until the stupid fella in AirAsia sent a copy of the itineary to my sis's email instead of mine without consulting me . I was so pissed off and was like telling the fella that he ruined the plans and he was like..sorry la n stuffs...as expected...sis did asked all of us why all of a sudden we are going over and she's scared that my parents is there to spot check her and her boyfriend....Lol..

anyways after that I'll be alone in the house for a couple of days before school reopen . ALONE in Mentari Court . Don't know to be happy or sad .

So to Denise , it's confirm that I won't be flying back with you anymore...for once I'm not your flying buddy .. =S

Instead of having 2 weeks , now I only have 3 days left to do everything before leaving ... omgosh . So much to do , so little time?

I had a fun day yesterday at Tanjung Aru Beach...it was another Form 5 Science 1 & 2's 2006 Class reunion and I'm glad I went because I met a lot of my old friends and it's kinda dissapointing also to not see some of them there...=S

To the people who went for the reunion..like 20+ of you...thanks for the fun times =) and glad to see you people again after 2 years...and I love my tan =)

It all ended at 5+pm...then went to send friends home .. before I reached home at 6.15pm...showered and went out at 6.45pm to have dinner with Mary and her parents at Penampang...

The restaurant was so packed...=S after dinner around 8.45pm headed to Bev's house and wait for her to come back from Ctmall ..left around 10.15pm to Bed...

...supposedly meet Jeremy & the gangs at Rumba but I decided to stick to the girls first...
Had Flaming Lamborghini with the girls..Melissa , Bev & Mary...and theres this 4 guys sitting next table keep asking me what drink is that we ordered...and witness us drinking it..so sakai...=S even asked me are we drinking the flame...=SS

Later that I think they're so eager to be friends with me..the fella approached me again with ciggies...omg la I hate smokers..!..so I just smiled and said No..then this human just won't give up..then he asked me..you guys also 4 person right..we also 4 person..come join table la..I was like..owh..*smiled and said oops I have a phonecall..brb..(so coincidence got phone call that time) then went off... Then I came back..the fellas never give up! This time put red wine on the table for me.. and I was like? ?? then the fella said oh wait heres more..another few glasses for the rest..then fine la..we just drink..then they came again after a while bringing more glasses of red wines for me and Mary..and Mary hate the taste of wine so she gave it all to me..and this time the guy was like asking me if I'm driving I said no..why? then he's like I give you a ride la..then I looked at him...without a reply hahaha then I went to the ladies...when I came back after 10 minutes I think the person thought I went home jor and I'm like thank god man for annoying people to go off..

Later that Jeremy fetched me and mary to eat supper..on the way I puked in jeremy's car hahaha was really suffocating from so much smoke and mixed drinks..felt like crying after that but I just can't ... then it's supper time which ended up I didn't eat at all...lose my appetite..after drinking so much....talked to Sue and she's like keep saying the word "F*** you.. =S but she's really funny when she try to explain something hahaha...and she's a lesbian! =S

after that sent Mary home and reached home at 2+am...didn't sleep until this morning , went to church at 8.20am..thinking I might collapsed anytime since I was dead tired but I didn't..went Karamunsing after church to shop around and had brunch...reached home at 1+pm thinking I should really sleep..instead I didn't =P continue uploading the pictures and taddaa...a blog post about my day was form =P

So it's time for me to stop procrastinating and start to blog more about Kuching , or else I won't get to blog about my christmas post by this christmas..=S

Firstly, I'll start off with the Cat Museum...so the first thing that came into our mind is .. is there real cats inside the Cat Museum..? and then later on we found out theres none..anyways its free to enter the Cat Museum but you'll have to pay to take pictures inside...and I don't really know how they judge the price but I remembered them saying because I'm using a digital camera so yeah they charged MYR4 for it...

Saw these Japanese imported stuffs inside the museum..High School Musical has Wild Cats , the japanese has Cool Cat .. Lol..

Unexpected things to see inside the museum will be Hello Kitty collections..lol...its not antique..

Even more...then you'll see Garfield...and Doreamon..

There are various posters and images displayed at the museum..i like this particular pic..Cat alphabets..hehe

See even cats can be so loving ... the sign says " please do not sit " .. no interruptions =P

You know some pets are just so lucky to have good owners? Even they died still got people remember them...

Owh theres also a souvenior place to buy cat souveniors...I bought earrings and tee shirts as charity because they'll donate the money to the charity home in kuching..

This is the cultural place in Kuching..I heard that inside you'll see real native people that stay inside that place giving explaination of their cultural stuffs...but the price to pay is RM60 per person if you're not a local...which is dumb k...the person was saying eventhough you're a Malaysian we'll still charge you the foreigner price...and they said unless we produce our student card its RM15 ..which is really stupid..who brings student card while they're on vacation? LOL..Aunty insisted on bringing us in..but we rejected...not worth visiting since KK also have all these things..

Next is Kuching's General Museum...since it's under renovation..there's nothing much to see but what you see in these 3 pictures...very sad indeed and also ...as usual..visited their souvenior shop...

Visited Kuching's resorts too...Damai Puri and Damai something at Damai...it's honestly kinda dissapointing for resort standard la...no wonder when Bev see the resorts in KK she said its very different from what they have in Kuching..and it takes about an hour journey from town..

Visited the Malaysia - China Friendship Park too..but it was raining that day so the pictures taken was took from the car...and zoomed from far...this place is said it used to be the place where the malaysians meet the chinese...

it is located in the middle of a housing area...surrounded by houses...

and there's also a hall..which used to have a chinese restaurant...but it didnt made it..so its kinda abandon..now this place is use mostly for people learning taichee..

Went to town ..opposite the waterfront area and saw these old building..used to be the old kuching court? was build since 1889 if not mistaken..its kinda abandon now but heard that theres chances someone will turn this place to a restaurant...

and opposite that white castle..was the famous Fort Margaret..and also in between is ying yong river..hahaha..

Ok so today I thought of blogging about the cat museum but because of "unforseen circumstances" I decided that I can't blog about it tonight..because I'm just so tired!

Its a long day for me today...was out since 2pm until like 11.30pm today...Went to so many places today...firstly went to Warisan Square and met up with my uncle and aunt who flew here this morning from Sandakan...went around to shopped and then settled down at Secret Recipe...omg I never knew their white chocolate + macademia nuts cake is so damn nice...so is their chicken cornish...then we headed to 1Borneo ... boy , the xmas decorations there are cute ... well some of it la ..not all..hahaha walked around then went to Esprit and got myself an Xmas present from my uncle..instead of him insisting on me getting another clothing for myself since I shopped so much already..I figured that I wanted something different instead so I got myself a scarf...its just a simple one though..I tried a few types but figured those few is like I don't know..not my type..was there until around 7+pm then headed back down town to Bella Italia for dinner .

The waiter there talked to me in italian..he said Bon Appetino before our dinner and I'm like Isn't that French? I mean french is like Bon Appetit..then he said yeah and the latino's is Appeti o...hahaha...so okay I learnt something new then after dinner the guy wanted to clear my plate and he talked to me in french ...asking me whether he can clear...hahahaha so of course Oui. :) very interesting waiter I may say and he is very alert with guest's needs . Excellent .

After dinner our next stop is like...Sutera Harbour....and then Grace Point , lastly to Penampang to send my relatives home ... =S Im feeling so ... full now because of all the foods and drinks I had today...not to say..Fats is getting its hold on me now =( HELP!

Edit as at 12.42am : OMG DH 28 STUDENT...TIMETABLE IS OUT! AS FOR FNB STUDENTS ...MONDAY NO CLASS AND GUESS WHAT? TUESDAY CLASS STARTS AT 1PM AND ENDS AT 4PM? DAMN NICE RIGHT!? AND WE'RE GETTING MR ALEX STEPHEN BACK FOR FNB THEORY! ... MS SUZANNE FOR LAW...AND AND MR PATRICK(GROUP 1) FOR FNB PRACTICAL...AND EVERYDAY CLASSES STARTS AFTER 10AM..EXCEPT FOR FRIDAY WHICH IS 9.30AM...STILL BETTER THAN 8AM RIGHT ... JOY?! and omg Accounting is back! =DD I'm half happy half worried now... LOL..

Okay so here's another post about food...this is the famous crab that Beverley insisted us to try...the crab is seriously huge and the meat is yummy! Why? It was cooked in a special method...this crab is cooked with the "pressurize method" to bring out the sweet taste of it...at the same time it was also charcoal burned ( something like barbequed ) with honey and the end result? Delicious!

This vegetable , something that looked like Paku Pakis..but its another vegetable..cooked with red wine as sauce...

Kuching's Tomato Kueh Teow...

Asam fish...Sweet and Sour...this is delicious too..

Its a type of clam...forgot what does it called but its cooked with curry...not bad ...

Owh...my favourite oyster omelette ... ow wa jien...=P I'm craving for it again now..its a tab bit too salty though..

Next right on is...about..igloo..

Igloo is a dessert parlour , also named as Charmy Snowy Ice... we have it in KK too ...saw it somewhere around Lintas...but never try it but I tried the one in Kuching...2 outlet , one nearby the shopping mall named The Spring or was it Boulevard...and another one I seriously dunno where haha.. =P I love the desserts here...everything is made from very fine shredded ice..with flavourings...if you ask me to choose between this and Ice Kacangs I'll definately go for this because I'm not a fan of beans ... red and green beans especially =P

The interior ... really suites the mood for christmas!

I like this part especially...looks so winter-ish yet the flowers inside the bottles made the difference as if its a flower preserve lab kinda concept..

I'm finally back from Sandakan , and as I've promised I will upload pictures of my trip when I was in Kuching ... currently I'm feeling really fat due to all the food I ate...you guy just wouldn't believe that I've ate so much this 2 weeks ( including when I was in Sandakan ) ... my life is like all about food , shopping , sight- seeing and drinking..=S

Not to mention I remembered 2 days ago I was having 3 slices of cheesecake at one of the new cafe opened in Sandakan , D'Venice for lunch and the next day I had 3 scoops of Haagen Dazs Ice cream after dinner...I am so gaining weight after this trips I thought , but NO! In fact I lose weight , didn't gain...so yeah perhaps its a good thing which means I can eat more!

This post will be all about the street foods I tried at Kuching which , well honestly in my opinion some of ours in Sabah is way better ... and some I dare not comment much because I'm not a fan of Ko Lo Mee...which I tried and some was good indeed...some foods that I've tried is not available in Sabah , seafood is the food I'm sick of right now which I had almost everyday in 2 weeks , but its always good to try something cooked in different methods .

Actually theres a lot more food stuffs that I ate during my trip there but I've decided not to post the pictures since we also have it in Sabah and Kuala Lumpur ... I've decided to split this food posts into two... and my sight seeing post in another...and to end everything , who says only restaurants offer nice food ? =P
Okay before you start looking at the pictures , if you're hungry I suggest you don't continue looking at it..hahaha

Kon lou mee , from the same shop...but the noodle is mixed with tomato sauce...

Kon Lou Mee...this one is the best in Kuching...

Beef meat noodle...with kuey teow...+ taugeh ketchup soup ... I still prefer the traditional ngau chap... =S but this is not bad too =)

Kuching's Pok Piah... one is with chili one is without ... it reminds me of Sister's poppiah back in KL..but the filling is a bit different...this is teochew way of making their pok piah ... which malay people called it as Poppiah ... but poppiah is usually made with dried prawn floss or chicken floss as fillings...

My favourite Duck meat + glass noodle..this is seriously nice...I tried it and I insisted Denise and Bev to try...am missing it already...apparently that stall is famous ... they got interviewed by some newspapers and magazines...

Handmade Kon Lou Noodle with Char Siew and meat slices...this is nice! Although im not a fan of Kon lou mee...seriously this is worth the try and aunty said this is not the best yet ...=X

Kuching's laksa ... look how big is the prawn .. lol

Another Kuching's specialty ... Belacan Mee Hoon + Cuttlefish + Egg...if you dont like belacan ... don't eat because you won't like the smell =P

Various type of ice kacangs that I've tried . All of them kinda tasted the same as those we have in KK ...

Kuching's Cucur Udang ... its a mixture of prawns , potatoes and tauhu .

This is another version of Kueh Chap but its with Kueh teow and Egg.

Kueh Chap , available only in Sarawak ... its a mixture of pork's organs . Very nice ... love the herbal taste .
